Train Alongside Academic Studies

Our sixth form football scholarship programme provides players with an opportunity to train full time alongside their academy studies. All of our scholarship programmes coaching staff have worked in professional club academies and are full time coaches.

Over the years the scholarship programme has helped develop a large number of players who have gone on to play semi professional football as well as players who are now in the USA on scholarships.

Starting from September 2024 we have been offering an Elite pathway in partnership with Ramsgate Football Club. The programme gives players the best opportunity of transitioning from youth to adult football, whilst helping them reach their potential.

Our Elite Squad is run in partnership with Ramsgate Football Club.

Ramsgate Football Club have a first team and under 23’s team that have a core of Thanet based players; the club aims to increase the number of local players in their senior squads. The aim of our Elite squad is to provide pathways for players from the area into the Ramsgate FC senior squads. Players who attend the scholarship programme will receive coaching that will help them develop as individuals to help prepare them for the potential step into senior football.

Education & Trials Information – TSC Scholarship Programme

 

The education component of our scholarship programme is delivered through one of our two partner institutions: St George’s C of E School or Sports Connect. All players enrolled in our programme must be registered with one of these education providers.

Trial Process
All prospective players are required to attend a minimum of two trials with TSC. However, we strongly encourage players to attend as many sessions as possible to give our coaching staff ample opportunity to assess their ability and potential.

Following each trial, we will provide individual feedback via email or WhatsApp, outlining the next steps. If a player is successful, they will be invited to join pre-season training in August. This phase helps us evaluate players further and determine their placement into either the Elite or Development squad.

Please note that squad placement is fluid—players may move between squads throughout the season based on performance, attitude, and progression.
